In the field of data communications several new products were launched offering robust and cost-effective solutions for railway applications.
In his comments about the year the President and CEO Fredrik Jönsson notes that 2009 was a tough year for the entire automation industry. But thanks to early implemented cost savings, internal development and a focus on sales Beijer Electronics has a stable platform for growth and is in a good position for the future.
Fredrik Jönsson commented further:
- In 2010, we will continue our growth strategy, where the development of attractive concept solutions, increased geographical presence and openness to further acquisitions are key building blocks. There is no doubt that automation is the future. With today's focus on production efficiency, reduced energy use and environmental concerns, we have a very important role to play.
